Chana Chaat


Chana Chaat 🙂 🙂 This dish can be served as a starter, snack or even can be as a brunch.  You can do it in a jiffy if you have leftover boiled chana.

This chaat is my family favorite and healthy too. So without further introduction,

Let’s do Chana Chaattttttttttt !!!!!!


Chana : A Cup boiled and cooled

Onion : 1/2 finely chopped

Tomoto :1/2 finely chopped

Potato :1/2 boiled and roughly smashed

Aloo bhujia : 4 tsp or more

Red chili powder: a pinch or more depends on your spice level

Green chili :1 Finely chopped

Chaat Masala : 1/2 tsp

Amchur Powder : 1/2 tsp

Lime Juice : 2 tsp

Salt : As per the taste

Cilantro : Finely chopped ( I didn’t add it)


  1. In a bowl take the boiled chana, add finely chopped onion,tomato,green chilli,potato. Give it a mix.
  2. Now add red chili powder,amchur powder,chaat masala,salt, lime juice and mix it all.
  3. Serve it in a plate and garnish it with some aloo bhujia and cilantro. You can also add some roughly crushed pani pooris.
  4. Have it as an evening snack with tea. Happy eating !!
