Potato fry is a easy to do dish and goes well with Sambar rice,Curd rice,Tamarind rice,lemon rice,tomato rice and so on. It is a best side dish when it comes to tour lunch packing.
1.One medium size potato
3.Sambar Powder–> 1/2 tsp
4.Turmeric Powder—>1/4 tsp
5.Salt to taste
- Wash the potato , peel the skin and cut it so finely, like a small small square.
- In a Preheated pan add in some oil, after the oil get heated up add all the square size chopped potato and give it a stir for 2-3 mins.
- Now add Sambar powder,turmeric powder,salt and give it a stir. Close the lid,simmer the gas and cook it for 10 mins.Between every 3 mins open the lid and give it a stir in a regular interval.
- After 10 mins you can see the potato’s golden brown in color, soft in texture and look’s inviting.Serve it hot with sambar or other mixed rice of your choice. Happy eating 😉
